Elliot George began his career at Horton’s in 2018 with a background in athletic training and physical therapy. After two years of fabrication experience, he became an ABC Certified Prosthetic Technician in April of 2021 and soon moved into the role of Horton’s prosthetic fabrication manager. He developed an increasing desire to also be involved in the clinical aspect of prosthetics and began assisting and training with Horton’s prosthetists in providing patient care. In April of 2022, he obtained his state license as a prosthetic assistant. Elliot continued to grow in his knowledge and skills and in September 2022 earned his ABC certification as an Orthotic Technician. His days are full managing prosthetic fabrication in the lab as well as seeing patients and assisting with fitting their prosthetics. Elliot loves working in O&P because of the direct impact he can have on improving an individual’s quality of life. Elliot’s favorite way to spend his personal time is going on walks with his wife and daughter and his little girl loves when daddy gets down on the floor to play too. He also enjoys playing his guitar and occasionally serenades his coworkers as they leave at the end of the day.
