Horton works in her families business doing orthotics and prosthetics. She has been a mastectomy fitter for over 15 years. Horton does the billing and is in charge of all the patient care coordinators and the authorization department. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2000 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. She also is the meeting coordinator for the Arkansas State Association where, she plans their annual state education meeting. In 2012, she started an initiative to build an all-inclusive park in Bryant. She worked with Bryant Parks volunteering numerous hours until the park’s completion in 2018. In 2017 Horton was one of thirteen, the only non-physician, invited to the White House by the Vice President’s staff to speak with the Secretary of Health and the Head of CMS about problems with Medicare and private insurance.
