The new Faulkner County facility will allow Horton’s O & P to service a new area of central Arkansas for residents in need of Horton’s specialized services for adults and children.
Horton’s Orthotics & Prosthetics, a longtime institution in Central Arkansas, recently announced the opening of its newest location in Conway at 635 Dave Ward Drive. As with its other offices, Horton’s will provide customized orthotics and prosthetics, as well as customized orthopedics, educational support, and more.
With the new Conway facility, Horton’s is pleased to better serve residents in the Faulkner County region. As one of the five most quickly-growing cities within the state of Arkansas, Conway’s growing community will now have better access to the vast services which Horton’s can provide.
With its Arkansas origin stretching back more than 35 years, Horton’s began as a Little Rock-based orthotics lab. Over the years, the family-owned business, led by certified orthotist Gary Horton, developed and perfected proprietary orthotics. These include devices which have been used by NASA. Through Horton Technology and Horton’s Orthotic Lab, Inc., newly-developed devices have been sold around the world, including their groundbreaking orthosis, the stance control orthotic knee joint (SCOKJ).
In addition to the creation of innovative devices, Horton’s O & P has continued to expand its scope of coverage and services. It now has a total of six locations, with the addition of the Conway offices. Now a full-service orthotic and prosthetic lab, Horton’s not only creates orthotic and prosthetic devices, but also makes and fits orthopedic footwear, mastectomy forms and specialty wear, and lymphedema compression garments.
